CEC recognized Denys Pyatyhorets as elected people's deputy instead of Stepan Kubiv
The Central Election Commission recognized Denys Pyatyhorets as an elected people's deputy of Ukraine.
It is noted that the CEC received from the Verkhovna Rada a document on the early termination of the powers of people's deputy of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv.
As is known, on May 18, Stepan Kubiv passed away.
He was elected in the early parliamentary elections on July 21, 2019, in the nationwide multi-mandate electoral district from the party "European Solidarity."
The CEC reviewed the document and recognized Denys Pyatyhorets, the next candidate in order included in the electoral list of the party "European Solidarity" under No. 28, as an elected people's deputy of Ukraine in the mentioned elections.
"To register as a people's deputy of Ukraine, Denys Pyatyhorets must submit the documents defined by law to the Commission no later than the 20th day. In turn, the Commission shall make the appropriate decision no later than the 5th day from the date of their receipt," the CEC added.
