The mobile application “Diia” currently provides a significant list of digital documents that can be used instead of paper or plastic counterparts. This is reminded by the Migration Service of Dnipropetrovsk region.

Which documents are available in “Diia”

In the app, you can generate and use the following digital documents:

  • Ukrainian citizen's passport in the form of an ID card;
  • “eDocument” (for the duration of martial law);
  • biometric international passport;
  • taxpayer card (RNOKPP);
  • driver's license;
  • vehicle registration certificate;
  • vehicle insurance policy;
  • student ID;
  • internally displaced person (IDP) certificate;
  • child's birth certificate;
  • pension certificate;
  • residence permit for permanent or temporary stay for foreigners;
  • education documents, including diplomas, certificates, and attestations.

Features of international passports

The migration service clarifies that in “Diia” not only biometric international passports are available, but also non-biometric documents if they were issued after 2015.

Legal force of digital documents

The agency emphasizes that digital documents in “Diia” have the same legal force as their plastic or paper counterparts. This is enshrined in the current regulatory legal acts of Ukraine.
