Infantry-assault, combat, and basic: new contract applications opened in Army+
The Ministry of Defense announced that in the "Army+" app for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service, the submission of a report for concluding a new contract has become available. The "Contracts" service started working in the "Services" section.
Currently, three types of contracts are available:
- infantry-assault;
- combat;
- basic.
The Ministry of Defense notes that the new contracts take into account different military roles and define clear service conditions: terms, payments, and guarantees after the contract ends. Detailed conditions are posted on the official resource of the ministry.
To submit a report through "Army+", you need to go to the "Services" section and select the "Contracts" service.
Using the example of the infantry-assault contract, a serviceman must:
- choose the type of contract;
- indicate the military unit number;
- select the desired position;
- specify military rank and current position;
- confirm the contract conditions;
- leave a contact phone number for feedback.
After submission, the report is automatically sent to the selected military unit for consideration. It is not necessary to specify the Army ID of the immediate commander.
The review status can be tracked in the "Reports" section.
If the selected military unit does not participate in the infantry-assault contract program, the app notifies about this. In such a case, there is an option to submit a report for transfer to a unit involved in the program. This is also available through "Army+".
For combat and basic contracts, the submission procedure is similar, but the serviceman additionally specifies the 9-digit Army ID number of the immediate commander. After that, the report is sent to the Personnel Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for processing and contract preparation.
Then, specialists from the Personnel Service contact the serviceman, clarify details if necessary, and invite them to review the contract terms and sign it.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that the launch of this service is part of the digitalization of processes in the Defense Forces. It allows submitting documents online, tracking their review, and reducing the number of paper procedures. According to the order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine No. 531, the review period for the report is no more than 14 days from the date of submission.
